My Journey
I'm from Northern Sweden, where I grew up surrounded by mountains and endless trails. At 17, I started working at Kebnekaise Mountain Station and stayed for 12 seasons, learning every ridge and valley of Sweden's highest peak.
My adventures have taken me across the globe—hiking the Gröna Bandet over 2 months in 2018, summiting Island Peak in Nepal, trekking through New Zealand, Iceland, Norway, Italy, Spain, and Svalbard. But my greatest journey came at 20, during a solo 4-week expedition that changed my perspective on life and resilience.
In 2015, chronic pain in my feet became a constant companion. But pain taught me something unexpected: it doesn't control your spirit. After a pain rehab program, I decided to reclaim my life. I set out on a 1,350km hike, and after 6 weeks of intense struggle, something shifted. The pain began to fade, and I haven't looked back since.
Now I share this passion with my partner from North India, who's discovering the mountains for the first time. Together, we're creating memories, inspiring others, and proving that hiking is for everyone—beginner and experienced alike.
I'm vegan. I dry all my own meals. I cook on campfires, gas stoves, and cold soak in the backcountry. This website is a memory for us, a connection to our families across Scandinavia and India, and an invitation for you to get out in nature and find your own piece of joy in the mountains.
